FAQs

Do I need to visit China to work with you?

1

As we are based in the UK, most of our support can be dealt with from the UK. For more hands-on projects — factory setups, JV negotiations, staff hiring — we would recommend an in-person visit at some stage, and we can facilitate and accompany you throughout.

How long does it take to set up a company in China?

2

The timeline varies depending on the business type and location, but a typical WFOE registration takes between 3 and 6 months. We manage the process from start to finish and keep you informed at every stage.

What makes you differentIs China still a competitive sourcing destination?

3

Yes — and increasingly so for high-value, high-complexity manufacturing. While some low-cost production has shifted to other markets, China's combination of infrastructure, skilled workforce, and supply chain depth is unmatched for most product categories.

How do your fees work?

4

We offer flexible fee structures depending on the nature of the engagement — including project-based fees, retainer arrangements, and day-rate advisory. We provide a clear fee proposal before any work begins, with no hidden costs. Your first consultation is always free..

How do you protect our Intellectual Property in China?

5

IP protection requires a multi-layered approach — including proper trademark and patent registration in China, supplier contract clauses, manufacturing safeguards, and careful partner selection. We advise on all of these and work with specialist IP lawyers where needed.
